OSC Member of the Week

I've decided to add a new installment to the 2011 blogging efforts and it's called, "Oregon Sportsman's Club Member of the Week." The first recipient of this high honor is Jacob from team Jake and the Fat Men. Jacob was kind enough to take our team photo on Tuesday evening and that good deed has earned him a spot on our blog as well as a 5 x 7" glossy photo of himself and his shotgun courtesy of the Oregon Walgreens photo department.

Week 2 – The Mötley Crüe

The Local 505 was a man down tonight as Curt was M.I.A. for some much needed R&R. The remaining four UCB members took their spots on stage and rocked out on some clay targets. From LtoR: Alex, Shawn, Mike and John. The week 2 Top Gun was John. Next week is a holiday bye so no official league shoot.

Week 1. Wind blows.

Alex was the UCB top gun in week one. The wind made for some challenging shots and below average scores to say the least. Alex is standing on a stump in this photo but I had to crop it out. I'll email anyone the full image if they're interested.

Here's the newest member of the Wisconsin River Pirates. Jeff shot well and has the makings of a great trap shooter in the very near future.

A tasty adult beverage helps calm the nerves before we shoot. Just kidding. We're never nervous.

The UCB Local 505 finally made it out to the club for our first bank night. Unseasonably warm weather made for a great night of shooting. Our thoughts were with Curt and hope he's back on the line with us very soon.
