Krull Boys Bag First Bucks

Both Will and Lane Krull bagged their first bucks and successfully stuffed the family freezer with venison in 2012.

Will shot this "hog" buck with his Hoyt Rampage on October 27. He made an incredible quartering shot at 30 yards and earned a deer of a lifetime.

Lane and John spent the opening afternoon of gun season in the tree stand. Just as the sun was setting this eight-point buck stepped out and Lane earned his stripes as a Big Buck Hunter.

North Dakota 2012 - ROOSTER!

Mike and John had another safe and successful pheasant hunt in North Dakota this fall. We limited out before noon most days and saw hundreds of pheasants some days.

Gage "The Boondocks Bandit" successfully completed his fourth pheasant season. Gage is known in the grouse woods as the "workman" and he definitely lives up to that handle when hunting pheasants.

One our our favorite places is the Hague Cafe. The cafe is owned by the town and staffed by local housewives. They make a mean ham and cheese omelet and are known for their Thursday lunch special: chicken or sausage strudel. Be prepared for a long nap if you order it.

John adopted the neighbors farm dog "Gunner" and he helped bag our limits. Gunner is part lab and part jackrabbit.

Mike poses with some big ol' NoDak roosters after a good morning of shooting.

Hunting in North Dakota means at least two nights at the Quencher. Cold beer and a little David Allen Coe on the juke box. Yee hah.

Time seems to stand still while we're on our annual hunting trips. God bless America.
