Sport Products 2016 Class AA Champions

A big congratulations to Sport Products on winning the 2016 Class AA title. They beat the Local 505 by two birds in the championship shoot off. Really fun watching these guys shoot. Great season Bryan, Pat, Steve, Ron, and Bob!

Week 12 Report

The Local 505 took their first official team selfie in week 12 of the 2016 season. The boys gave it their all but came up short of the red hot Sport Products. Stu would be proud of how his old team rallied in the second half of the season to force a shoot out for the 2016 Class AA championship. The championship will likely be decided the week of August 29. #KeepYourBarrelsWarm505

Week 12 Bartender Cam: This bartender really enjoyed having the Sons of Liberty at the club this season. It was a good reflection of the excitement the Local 505 experienced back in 2005. Good luck in college and work gents and we'll see you next spring.

Ladies Night

Signature Ladies & Nacho showed up tonight to shoot a rain out makeup score. It was great to have some fresh faces on our Tuesday trap league. Say hello to Becki, Kris, Nacho, Kelly, and Mary. Also present but not photographed were Fred, Kev, and Bailey.

The Class AA Rumble In The Jungle

The Local 505 and Sport Products are battling for the Class AA title like a couple of heavy-weight prize fighters. Sports Products dominated round one and the Local 505 battled back and delivered crushing blows in rounds 2-9. Sport Products rocked the Local 505 with a big right hook in round 10 that brought the crowd to their feet. Sport Products now has staggering lead on the judges score cards with only two rounds remaining in the fight. Don't count out either team until the final bell rings. #TightedTheGloves

Class AA Update

The second half Class AA title race is heating up. The United Clay Busters of America - Local 505 lead Sport Products but just one bird with three weeks remaining in the season. #exciting

Week Niner

The Local 505 continued to feed their shotguns tasty ammunition on Tuesday night. Only three weeks remain in the 2016 regular season.

Week 8 Report

The Local 505 maintains a slight lead on Sport Products for the 2nd half class AA title. It's definitely down to a two-horse race and only four weeks and 2,000 birds left to determine the 2nd half champion.

Note: This photo has nothing to do with the week 8 post. This blogger just likes to burn the cardboard with a torch at the end of the night and it's the only picture taken this evening. 

Week 7

Feeling fortunate to be able to pursue our passions and share the camaraderie of our fellow club members. Our hearts go out to the Dallas police officers and all victims of senseless violence.

Sir James Lutz wins the award for the coolest shell bag. Way to represent.

Bye Week

The Local 505 had a bye week in celebration of America's birthday so this blogger took advantage of the beautiful evening and got acquainted with Aguila's high-velocity trap loads. These rounds are really fun to shoot from handicap distances as there are lightning fast - 1350 fps fast. #FeedYourFirearm
